(We see Dean Andry standing backstage to address his absence from WKW recently.)
Dean Andry: I've made a special trip here tonight so I could tell everyone in person that I'm sorry for not bein' around recently. The reason is my mom took a misstep on the stairs inside her home n' she fell, causin' her to break her leg. She's in a lot of pain needless to say n' she's gonna need help at home, both mom n' pops are gonna need help during her recovery time.
Dean Andry: This means that I'm gonna take time off to go be with my mom n' pops. It's family first with me, n' this is somethin' I gotta do. I love 'em too much to not go n' stay with them when they need me.
Dean Andry: I will be back as soon as the time is right. Thanks to everyone showin' your support to me n' my folks. Means a lot!
(The show goes to ringside.)

Round One
Robert Saints vs Ace Reigns
Robert Saints and Ace Reigns are already in the ring as the referee checks both wrestlers for illegal objects before asking for the bell to ring to start the match.
Robert and Ace lock up in a test of strength with Ace overpowering Robert backing him into one of the corners of the ring as the referee gets between the two men separating them. The referee pushes back Ace away from Robert that he doesn't see when Robert hits Ace with a thumb to the eyes.
The referee asks Robert what happened but Robert plays it off as he knows nothing about what the referee is talking about. Robert bounces off the ropes and connects with a Running Clothesline knocking Ace down to the mat.
Robert then mounts Ace as he rains down punches to the head of Ace. Ace tries his best to cover up from the punches. The referee gets in between the two men separating them again only this time Ace with a rake to the eyes of Robert while the referee wasn't looking.
Mark Williams: It seems payback is in play there.
Tony London: Robert did it earlier and now Ace is just returning the receipt with that move.
Mark Williams: Robert had better stay focused if he wants to win this match here tonight.
Tony London: Trust me, this isn't Robert's first rodeo so he'll find a way to win.
Ace tells the referee that Robert is making things up and that nothing has happened to his eyes. Robert backs away from Ace hoping to get a breather but Ace dives through the top and middle ropes and knocks Robert down on the arena floor.
Ace lifts Robert back up to his feet and throws him back into the ring where Robert then crumbles to the ring mat. Ace gets back into the ring and Robert pops up like a venomous cobra and connects with a Lou Thesz Press.
Ace has been busted open by the Lou Thesz Press and the referee is trying to get in between the two men in order to check up on Ace but Robert isn't relenting as soon as the referee gets out of the way, Robert connects with the Viper Cutter and goes for the cover as the referee counts the three count.
Mark Williams: Just like that Robert has taken the victory away from Ace.
Tony London: Ace tried his best here tonight but it just wasn't enough.
Mark Williams: Congratulations on the victory to Robert as he moves on in the tournament.
Tony London: Can anyone stop the momentum of Robert Saints?
Robert exits the ring and heads back to the locker room area as the show goes to a commercial break.

Brandon Vs. Angellus
Angellus makes his way out to the ring followed by his tag team partner Steven McKnight as Brandon is already in the ring awaiting the entrance of Angellus.
The two men are now standing in the middle of the ring as the referee reminds both wrestlers of the rules before the match gets under way. Angellus and Brandon are two big bulls with neither one backing down from the other.
it turns into a shoving contest with Angellus overpowering Brandon and slamming him to the mat. Brandon gets back up to his feet only to be slammed back down to the mat again. Brandon is slowly getting back up to his feet when Angellus runs down with a diving elbow drop.
Mark Williams: Angellus isn't allowing Brandon to get out of the starting gate.
Tony London: Brandon needs to figure out something and fast if he hopes to win the match tonight.
Brandon rolls out of the ring and locks eyes with Steven McKnight on the outside of the ring. The referee warns Steven that if he gets involved then Angellus will be disqualified. Angellus goes to the outside and starts following Brandon who is still looking at Steven. Angellus attacks Brandon from behind and throws him into the barricade before throwing Brandon back into the ring.
Brandon stumbles to his feet and unloads on Angellus as soon as he gets back into the ring. Steven stands on top of the ring apron distracting the referee as Angellus pulls a chair from under the ring and waits for Brandon to turn around and then connects with Angle Slam onto the chair to Brandon.
Angellus dumps the chair out of the ring as Steven gets down from the ring apron as the referee turns to see Angellus in the cover as the referee counts the three counts and awards the match to Angellus.
Mark Williams: Angellus never had an intention of fighting Brandon fairly in this match and because of those underhanded tactics, he's moving on in the tournament.
Tony London: Steven McKnight was the major difference here tonight in this match and that might be due to the fact that Angellus and Steven McKnight have another match later tonight for the vacant WKW World Tag Team Championships.
Angellus and Steven McKnight celebrate in the ring as the show goes to a commercial break.

Mark Williams: No matter the selection of Steven McKnight, it'll be the right choice.
Steven gets into the ring and shakes the hand of The Enforcer before being given a microphone from the ring side crew.
Steven McKnight: I have been thinking it over since I won the WKW Great American Championship last Sunday.
