Interview With "The Wild Card" Dean Andry
Exclusive Interview With "The Wildcard" Dean Andry
Conducted by ICW interviewer/commentator Sara Butler
ICW's Sara Butler sat down with "The Wildcard" himself Dean Andry who made his big return at WrestleCade II, much to the shock of everyone.
Sara Butler: Dean, you’re back! How does it feel?!
Dean Andry: Sara, I have been waitin', impatiently waitin', to come back! And damn, it feels fantastic! That huge warm reception I got from the fans when I returned really made me feel so missed! I have been tryin' so hard to get myself healed up from my injury that put me on the shelf in the first place. I don’t even wanna talk about all that because I’m a guy who wants to live in the ‘here and now’, so I’m just so thankful that recovery went well for me. I’m back babe!
Sara Butler: Now, as we all saw, you attacked Jamo when you returned. Right after his match, you went after him with a vicious assault. Can you tell us more about why you did that?
Dean Andry: It’s real simple. I gotta tell ya, I sat at home watchin’ da match between Jamo n’ my brotha Darren Maddox, n’ what I saw Jamo do to Darren just made my blood boil. I couldn’t even believe what I was seein’ at first. I mean, Jamo has always said he was a friend a' Darren’s. Well what kinda ‘friend’ goes right after ya injury to the point where you can ‘cause major damage that might not be repairable??! Was Jamo THAT championship hungry that he had to betray Darren like that?? I mean, come on! Totally unacceptable man. Totally unacceptable for Jamo to do that.
Sara Butler: I can see just by you sitting here right now that you’re still upset about it.
Dean Andry: Damn right I am, n’ I will be for a very long time. I don’t even know if I will ever be able to forgive Jamo. I see him so differently now, n’ not in a good way at all.
Sara Butler: How is your relationship going with Destiny Hunter?
Dean Andry: Oh it’s amazin’! That woman, ‘lemme tell ya, with this whole virus thing happenin’ around the world, we didn’t really have much time together. With her still travellin’ with da company n’ wrasslin’ match after match with Candace as the tag champs, me n’ her both thought it best that she stay away from me ‘cause ya know, when ya travellin’, ya might have the virus n’ NOT KNOW ya got it, so she didn’t wanna bring it home to me. I was already in bad shape with my injury n’ tryin’ to recover from that. The infection I had as well from the injury, my body was already weakened, so we made the right decision to stay away from each other.
Sara Butler: So moving forward now, what’s next for Dean Andry?
Dean Andry: What’s next is that me n’ Destiny have renamed our tag team name from Dean N’ Destiny to The Wildcard Bombshells. How that came about was we were sittin’ havin’ breakfast the other day n’ she said to me we should revamp our tag team name to somethin’ new. I agreed with her that we needed somethin' new to change it up, so she came up with The Wildcard Bombshells. I love it. She’s so damn smart that woman! I really love her n’ things are goin’ great for us. The chemistry we got goin’ together, I can’t even describe it, honestly.
Sara Butler: Dean, thank you so much for this interview and we’ll all be anxiously waiting to see what you do next.
Dean Andry: Oh don’t ya worry, there’s a lot more comin’ up from Dean Boy here!
The interview comes to conclusion.
